What is the WORDE Institute?
The WORDE Institute is a multi-year grant-funded program by the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) to diversify the next generation of biopharmaceutical workers. The Institute has strategic partnerships with top academic institutions and industry-leading biopharmaceutical firms to ensure its success.

Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory
DSU established the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory in partnership with New Castle County and utilized the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to provide affordable COVID-19 tests for the local community.
